I've been gaming for a number of years - started on the Atari playing Stealth Fighter. I've played a range of PC games from Age of Empires to the Brothers in Arms series and many more but not seriously due to real life commitments. I first started online mutiplayer gaming with Rome Total War and more recently with Company of Heroes. These games became serious time munchers  I more recently moved on to ArmA after becoming interested in Combat sims. I really enjoy this online gaming format because of the nature of teamwork that is required. The use of voice communications really adds to the gaming experience and I much prefer to game with people who play games the "right" way. |

Gamer Since: I can't remember that far! I guess I started PC gaming with Doom 1/2 and some console gaming on the Sega and Nintendo. About a year ago, I started modding Ghost Recon and it's bloomed into an extreme interest of game development. It's still a hobby though.
Other Interests: I've studied computer programming and completed an internship at the Department of National Defense working on databases. My next step is a bachelor's degree in software engineering.

Bio: I've been computering and gaming since the dawn of man... Flight Sims are my gaming roots.. Falcon (all series) Enemy Engaged, all the old Microprose Sims... anything that flies. I became interested in Combat sims with the advent of Rainbow 6. I enjoy the comarade of online gaming because of the nature of teamwork that it allows. Been messing around on the computer since the days of DOS (self-taught). "Below the Root" and "Loderunner" are some oldies. Got into online gaming about 5 years ago, never found a good group to play team-based until I jumped online with Ghost recon.

| My first PC didn’t have a hard drive...enough said! I started gaming with flight SIMS (Falcon), but now I dabble in everything that Fanatik pushes my way. I think that the best part of online gaming is all the laughter that arises from SIM gamming. I bust a gut every time I enter the fray. When I’m not gaming, I create (IVR) interactive voice response telephony systems for businesses across the United States. |

When I started with computers it was the glory days of flying stick planes on a C64. From there I became the ultimate hardcore flight sim fan even to the point of building and designing my own full motion cockpit that was ultimately sold to Thrustmaster Inc. In the early 90's Fanatik introduced me to FPS and the rest is history. My games of choice are Ghost Recon, RB-6 series, anything that flies.
